thoughts on DNA technology - why an ethical code of conduct is necessary!

I will discuss very contemporary arguments, such as DNA technology and baby designing. With the science knowledge progressing and becoming almost ‘scary’, there obviously have been problems on the ethical side, especially in cases that concern human beings, but not only. In this case especially, people affected are children. Obviously not only, because there are many points of view. I will talk about cloning, that in fact could be applied either on humans and on animals; humans, such as great athletes, soldiers, very good looking people, or especially intelligent ones. Animals like ways too. DNA technology, first of all; what is it? DNA is something every living thing has inside their bodies, inside their chromosomes. This determines how you are characterally, which family you come from, what you look like and many other things that differ you from others. For example: sisters, brothers, mother and father with son and daughter will have quite the same DNA,

especially twins. Everyone therefore has  his or her own DNA, plants too, what if we started mixing DNA, copying it: cloning living things? It is a very delicate argument as it has pro’s and against, which I am going to discuss. In a few years science would be now able to have quite what we think complicate exchanges with DNA; they could determine what a baby is going to look like, superficially or rather a more important issue is they could clone organs, blood cells, that are sane and give them to people with serious diseases to prevent death, therefore no more transplants would be necessary and much more less people would die from these diseases. Which means that in a way it would be good but not in an other. In conclusion I think it should be approved if needed to cure diseases or any sort of deformation in embryos or people anyway and should not if only used for ‘superficial’, I think, reasons as baby designing. Because it should be used with careful attention, DNA is obviously not a joke and should be treated seriously.
